We are so excited to be joined by our talented neighbors at O-ku Chef Michael Chanthawong and Jesse Vang! Their skills are amazing and we are so happy to have them here to provide their expertise to teach the start-to-finish process of making sushi rolls and nigiri.
In this class we will cover everything from how to make sushi rice, choosing seafood and breaking it down, to preparing fillings and making finishing sauces. It’s all about the right balance of texture and flavor. We will also cover the history of sushi in Japan and how it became such a popular item to prepare here in the states.
Each guest will make a total of 3 rolls, 2 specialty rolls and prep for you to create your own roll! Along with freshly formed nigiri!
